The Fish Frys are officially over for now but return in the Fall. The President of the Legion, Joe, came to our table Friday to personally thank us for contributing to the success of these events. I have to agree we came with a lot of people each week. Little did Joe realize it was more for the fun of it than the contribution to the Post.
For those of you who know Heidi, (Bartender) she had a Thank You on our table as well. She sincerely would like to see us come up and hang out at least one Friday a month so I think maybe we can do that. You are welcome to bring food in with you, play pool, cards, whatever.
They are having a Derby Party on Saturday, May 7th at 4pm. We plan on attending and betting on the ponies if anyone would like to join us for the evening.
Anyway, I will keep you posted under this thread for any activities they have at the Legion. Steak Dinners, Horse Races, Parade and a ton of other stuff is always in the workings.
