A Maxi at last!!!!

Unread postby strkngfang » 21 Jul 2011, 13:15

As you all know I sold my Honda Elite 110 or at least you knew I was selling it? I had been hunting a used Honda Reflex, because I love Honda's and the Silverwing is way too big for me and the cost is outrageous. The Reflex has the Burgman/Majesty look to it but a little smaller, just under 400 lbs.
To make a long story short, I found one up in Versailles Ohio and got it for 2,800. It is a sport version and has 5,000mi on it. We went up to pick it up last night and ended up driving over an hour through a severe thunderstorm, talk about baptism by fire!! Once we hit Hamilton there wasn't even a drop, go figure. Talk about a nervous ride home, I did pull off a few times because of sight issues. Made it home safely and love the new addition. Enjoy the pics.

Sweet Dan luv the Yellow! Also like the cool Sporty look. Always liked the Reflexes, looked at quite a few myself when purchasing the Burgman. Sounds like you got a good deal and it looks new. Congrats! Sorry you had to ride it for the first time in bad weather especially that far, doesn’t that always figure. Glad you made it home safely, enjoy your new addition :D

Thanks, Debbie. I love the yellow/black color, plus it is very visible. The only thing I don't like is the short stock windshield. Eventually I'll get an aftermarket one since I ride all year round.

Congrats. I'm still trying to get mine running reliably; I thought I had the cooling issue solved, but apparently not.

My biggest complaint about the Reflex so far - the coolant fill cap is a pain to get to.

I have only seen a few yellow ones and I love it. You will have to team up with Bumblebee (Alex's T-Max).

I'll have to do that soon. She does look like "Bumblebee"s little sister. I love the TMAX but its too much size and power for me. The Reflex is perfect, and its a Honda :)

Thanks, Kurt. I'm amazed at all of the compliments from bystanders, who all love yellow.
